Effective Project Management

Project management can feel tricky and time consuming.  But it doesn't have to be! Managing projects effectively is less about complex tools and more about making clear, realistic decisions about priorities, scope, and time.

This workshop focuses on practical project management skills individuals can use to keep work moving forward without unnecessary stress or over-engineering. Participants learn how to identify which projects deserve their time and attention, define scope and milestones in a realistic way, and translate projects into manageable tasks. The session also covers how to plan work across quarterly, weekly, and daily horizons so projects make steady progress alongside day-to-day responsibilities.

The emphasis is on clarity, follow-through, and sustainable execution in real-world conditions.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Prioritize projects based on impact, urgency, and available capacity

  • Define project scope and milestones in ways that are realistic and achievable

  • Break projects into actionable tasks and allocate time to work on them consistently

  • Plan projects across quarterly, weekly, and daily timeframes to support steady progress
